I'd send this to both of you but don't even pretend like you're not in the same room right now, so consider this a message for Lowell as well

The pair of you (+Small, technically but whatever) gets to say what we do and don't do and I know you've probably more than a few ideas about what needs to get sorted, so consider this a diplomatic suggestion more than anything else. As much as I hate to say it, it seems to me like we're in a position where supply runs might actually be legitimately important if people are to survive down on the planet for long. I'm thinking survival gear, some generators to run some heating units, some heavy winter clothing for anyone who doesn't have their own kit already. Gasoline, medical supplies to beef up those first aid kits people've probably run through already, etc. I can draw up a list if you'd like

We won't be down planet side until tomorrow, but if we put our noses to it that should give everyone enough time to get things sorted I'd think? Though I can't claim to know how long it takes to make that equipment do what you'd like it to do, so that may be an unfair estimation on my part

[As the message pops up on Vennett's screen, he reads it through once before waving over Lowell.]

Looks like he's got about t'same idea.

[Lowell wheels his chair over to Vennett's desk, and reads over the text.]

I'd be surprised if he didn't. He's the smart one of their group, anyway. I'd say we finalize our list of wheres and whens, send it off to Small, and then put it into action.

Mosta it should be relatively quick jumps. Might be power heavy though. It gonna be able to take tha kinda use?

[In the meantime, he types a response to Charlie: If you're up for the pace, that sounds fine. Get me the list, we'll get it moving fast like.]

The only thing I'd be worried about is overheating. I'll need about seven buckets filled with large blocks of ice. But yes, it should be able to work.

[Vennett makes a face at that. He'd been outside only briefly before deciding .. as much as he was truly and thoroughly grateful to be back on earth? Fuck that cold.]

Obviously open to editing or additions. I don't have an accurate headcount on how many people are opting to go down versus stay on the moon, but I can't imagine there's many set on the latter. Feeding, clothing and heating three hundred people is going to be like herding cats

In the mean time, he types a reply:] Looks fine. Got a few additions myself. Lotta that you'll be able to pick from the same drop point, biggest issue will be quantity, yeah. We'll work out a base set an' go from there.

They got geothermal set up groundside. Gonna have old cranky over here put together a list of shit we'll need for tapping into that. Til then, petrol and propane will do.

Should I even bother asking for backup on this or is this something you'd rather us on parole just handle quietly?

I'll be sure to add it to the list of things for their group to pick up for us. Beer, Tequila, Vodka?

[And he means it. Along with, well... a few of his own personal requests. Now it's Lowell's turn to reply back, although since he's more or less just pushed Vennett's hands off the keys, he's still logged into Vennett's account while saying this:]
